  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Update employees handbook
  • Helps employees by explaining benefit programs
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications
  • Maintains manager and employee confidence by keeping human resources information confidential
  • Enrolls new employees by issuing forms and applications, verifying completion
  • Verifies candidates background by contacting references etc
Requirements:

Qualifications and requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail, work speedily and accurately with a focus on results as well as excellent customer care skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively with a range of people as you will be the first point of contact in the team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with good IT and the ability to work flexibly within a very busy firm. Monitoring new starters and leavers, note taking from hearings/meetings, supporting with adsence management and maintaining the personnel filing systems
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential. You wil be able to demonstrate an interest in furthering your career in Human Resources. A certificate in Personnel Practice or equivalent qualification is desirable
  • The candidate should be IT literate and with good knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge and experience in the use of any HR software will be considered an advantage
