Description:

We are looking for a General Manager to take charge of this Tanzania based operation. Reporting to a Board of Directors, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy for this operation. The highly competitive nature of this business will call for operational efficiency and you will be responsible for overall profitability. Managing the performance of your team and the company resources will also be your responsibility.

Requirements:

We want to discuss this position with food production experts(graduate level or above) with at least 10 years in the food processing industry; experience in fresh fruit juice processing in a modern/automated environment would be a definite advantage. Experience of working in Tanzania and of working in a start-up operation is highly desirable. Proven leadership and people management skills are essential as are business building skills.
