Head of Retail Risk

The Head of Retail Risk will take responsibility for quality of the Retail Credit portfolio and management of the entire Retail Credit Cycle.

Commercial Director

·       Lead the Relationship team covering a portfolio of Large Corporates in addition to the Personal accounts of key individuals for the country.

·       Champion and manage change introduced as a result of Corporate Initiatives/Programmes impacting the Corporate Market.

·       Maximize sustainable risk-adjusted portfolio contribution on both an individual portfolio and aggregate team basis.

·       Manage the Bank’s relationship with Large Corporates and Government entities.

·       Develop products/services aligned to customer requirements sourced from Bank’s Corporate Banking, Capital and Retail Financial Services.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Managing Director, the role is responsible for driving the strategic and business planning activities of the bank and monitoring of bank performance against the plan. The Manager will also be expected to take responsibility for business development and for delivering Sales Targets for both Retail and Wholesale Banking through the effective management of the country sales team.

Drought Preparedness Consortium Coordinator

Our client, DanChurch Aid (DCA), is a faith-based Danish NGO working closely with church-based as well as secular NGOs in Uganda and in the Great Lakes region. Their programmes focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and social support to people living with HIV/Aids, political space with a strong focus on good governance, food security, as well as humanitarian and transitional responses to conflict and natural disaster. DCA has supported emergency relief and development programmes in Uganda - including Karamoja - since 1979. Since 2006 DCA with funding from ECHO has coordinated a consortium comprising of three other agencies (ACTED, C&D, KADP), implementing three successive phases of a Drought Preparedness intervention in Karamoja under the Regional Drought Decision. DCA has secured funds for a fourth phase starting immediately and is therefore seeking an experienced Consortium Coordinator to manage and coordinate the intervention.
